Serious accident in Bavaria: driver disregards the right of way – seriously injured picked up by helicopter

A serious collision between a golfer and a scooter driver occurred in Bavaria.
The former had ignored the right of way.
Gangkofen – On Saturday morning, January 7th, a serious accident occurred in Bavaria.
At around 6.40 a.m., a scooter driver drove on the federal road 388 from Massing in the direction of Gangkofen, district of Rottal-Inn.
Then there was a collision with a golfer.

According to a press release from the fire brigade, a driver wanted to drive onto the main road at the exit to Reicheneibach, overlooked the scooter driver, disregarded his right of way and collided with him.
The man fell into the street and was seriously injured.
First responders treated the accident victim, then the emergency doctors and rescue services who arrived stabilized the man.
He was then taken to a specialist hospital by the Christopherus Europa 3 rescue helicopter, the report said.
There was also an accident near Erlangen.
A truck crashed on the A3, which had to be closed for a long time.
Scooter wrecked - Helicopter suspension
While the seriously injured man's scooter suffered a total loss, the woman was able to continue driving in her VW Golf.
Because of the landing of the helicopter, the federal road was closed for about 1.5 hours.
Finally, the police inspection in Eggenfelden takes over
the investigation into the accident.
