According to the announcement, Koch started his career at Kreissparkasse Ebersberg on February 1, 1996 and in 2011 became Head of Management and Communications at the merged Kreissparkasse München-Starnberg-Ebersberg.
In July 2013, Koch was appointed deputy board member and in May 2022 he was appointed to the board of directors of Groß-Sparkasse.
In Erding, Koch is responsible for the organization, IT, business administration, back office and auditing departments.
