Sun Yuhan, Secretary for Labor and Welfare, who is visiting Singapore, met with Joseph Sung, the former president of CUHK.

Joseph Sung was promoted early in 2017 and returned to the medical frontline. In 2020, he was appointed as the senior vice president of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and he is also the dean of the hospital's medical school.

During Sun Yuhan’s stay in Singapore, she met with Singapore’s Minister of Manpower, Chen Shilong, and exchanged views on recruiting talents. She also talked about how the two places deal with the dual challenges of an aging population and declining labor force, and mentioned the advantages of Hong Kong Star as the gateway to the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia. , to enhance Asia's attractiveness to global talent.
