Another Mega Millions drawing, another night without a big winner.
No one matched the six numbers or took the 940 million dollar prize, so the pot that will be raffled next Tuesday adds up to 1.1 billion dollars
The prize is now the third largest in US history.
The winning numbers drawn on Friday night were: 3, 20, 46, 59, 63, and the golden Mega Ball 13.

For two months, 24 draws have been carried out without finding a winner.
This streak is largely due to the low odds of hitting the combination, which currently stands at 1 in 302.6 million.
The new estimated $1.1 billion prize goes to a winner who elects to receive a life annuity paid annually for 29 years.
Grand prize winners usually choose the cash option, which for next Tuesday's drawing is estimated at $568.7 million.

“Mega Millions just hit the $1 billion mark again.
It's especially nice to see the jackpot grow over the holidays and into the New Year," Pat McDonald, director of the Ohio Lottery and principal director of the Mega Millions Consortium, said in a statement.
“As the jackpot grows, we encourage our players to stay within their entertainment budget and enjoy this jackpot race along with us,” he said.

The only two Mega Millions jackpots higher than the one that will be raffled next week are the 1.153 million distributed in 2018 in South Carolina and the 1.330 million won by a person in July in Illinois, the organization specified.
Elijah Kouza, assistant manager at Buscemi's convenience store in Livonia, Mich., said Friday's Mega Millions jackpot prompted many customers to buy tickets to try their luck.
