The writer, Dr. Marah Riwad Abu Faraj, signed her novel (On Your Chains) as part of a cultural meeting this evening in the social events hall in the city of Jaramana.
The meeting, which was held by the Charity Association in Jaramana, and in which a number of intellectuals and writers participated, included a discussion of the new novel by the writer Abu Farraj, and the social ideas and human aspirations it contains.
Ghazala Al-Jarmani, founder of the Charitable Society in Jaramana, spoke about the role of education in educating children and developing their talents, and the importance of young women's participation in cultural events, pointing out that the new novel presents many of its author's aspirations towards goodness and helping the afflicted and needy.
As for the poet Abeer Nader, she focused on the writer's relationship with the values that the novel aims to achieve.
While the journalist Amer Abu Faraj, in his speech to the participants and some of the cultural figures who participated in the audience, knew the cultural stages that the author of the novel went through.
At the same time, the writer Nabugh Asaad referred to the relationship of the novel's characters with the literary narration, which was characterized by high artistry and aesthetics through which it expressed women's feelings and their ability to achieve literary achievement that is characterized by originality and love of man and homeland.
In his speech, Maher Faraj, Director of Education in Rural Damascus, who honored the school, Abeer Abu Faraj, the mother of the writer, the author of the novel, spoke about the role of the mother in caring for the morals and culture of her children, indicating the importance of the educational values that the writer was influenced by and embodied in various visions during her writing.
The Director of the Charity Association, Dr. Ihsan Ezz El-Din, pointed out the importance of these cultural meetings and their role in establishing love and loyalty in society.
