Three drivers from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's motorcade were recently fired from their positions without a hearing before dismissal - this was announced last night (Friday) on N12.
The drivers who were fired had about 30 years of service, and they worked with many prime ministers, including Yitzhak Shamir, Shimon Peres, Yitzhak Rabin and Ehud Barak, as well as Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid Netanyahu.
The drivers said that they were called to the human resources directorate last Tuesday, and she informed them that they would not continue their work from the moment of the conversation.
In a letter sent through the lawyer Sigal Kaif to the Prime Minister's Office, it is written: "How after decades of working in this position with nine different prime ministers, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, after praise and compliments from every person who drove him or in the convoy accompanying him, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, was denied our client with one mistake their servant".

"This while denying their rights as workers and as human beings, without any right of argument, without any reasoning, even in appearance, without any procedure and without any reason as if they were a stationary object without rights," the lawyer added.
Netanyahu's office refused to comment.
