"Great responsibility": Yehuda Morgenstern appointed director general of the Ministry of Construction and Housing | Israel Today

The government approved the proposal of the Minister of Construction and Housing, Yitzhak Goldknopf, to appoint Morgenstern to the position.


Yesterday, the government approved the proposal of the Minister of Construction and Housing, Yitzhak Goldknopf, to appoint Yehuda Morgenstern as CEO of the new office. Vergenstern has 13 years of senior management experience, including 6 years as acting CEO of the Bnei Brak Economic Company, MM CEO "L" and VP of the company, and 4 more years in the position of CEO at Telam Company.

Morgenstern graduated with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management from the Technion and a master's degree from the University of Haifa.

Also, since 2020, he has served as a director of the Tel Aviv Municipality's water corporation "Mi Avivim" and previously served as a research fellow at the Shmuel Na'eman Institution for National Policy Studies.

Morgenstern is a graduate of many professional certifications, among others: the Maoz fellows program for the development of state and multi-sector leadership, a course on CEOs in municipal companies by the Local Government Center at Bar Ilan University, a practical director course by the Israeli Center for Management and more. Morgenstern lives in Bnei Brak , married +6.

Minister of Construction and Housing Yitzhak Goldknopf welcomed the appointment of CEO Morgenstern and said: "Yehuda, he is one of the most talented and dedicated people I have known. He has a lot of experience, and I am sure that there is no better person than him to lead the office at this time.
