Love affairs have been part of "Der Bergdoktor" practically since episode 1.

Some ZDF viewers are now very annoyed.

Angry, they announce their criticism online.

Ellmau – love, jealousy and the resulting drama are just as much a part of “Der Bergdoktor” as the picturesque Alpine backdrop.

But have Dr.

Martin Gruber (Hans Sigl, 53) and those around him too often in the 16th season?

The mountain doctor exhausted his relationship with his brother Hans Gruber (Heiko Ruprecht, 50) even before the events within the ZDF series began: with his deceased wife Sonja, the doctor embodied by Hans Sigl once had a small tryst, from which daughter Lilli (Ronja Forcher, 26) emerged.

All sorts of emotional confusion is also currently provided: Martin's ex Franziska (Simone Hanselmann, 42) will return in the new "Bergdoktor" season.

It is daughter Lilli, of all people, who finds the right words for the confusion of love: "You two were in love with mom," she summarizes the brotherly dispute.

The circumstances of her illegitimate conception weigh heavily: "You [Hans] married her and then I came into being in the one-night stand [with Martin]." Too much of good taste?

Criticism of the "Bergdoktor" - specialist journal for doctors criticizes the ZDF series:

"Der Bergdoktor" may be well received by its viewers, but there has already been criticism of the series from a professional perspective.

The Deutsches Ärzteblatt characterized protagonist Dr.

Martin Gruber as an uncooperative know-it-all whose everyday life in series has little to do with the actual medical profession.

The ZDF series is full of clichés and conveys the "classic image of doctors from the old Heimat films".

The secondary characters also seem to have taken an example from Martin Gruber and Co.: In the current episode (January 5), passionate love breaks out between mountain biker Felix Dreier (Felix Kreutzer, 30) and doctoral student Livia Pavel (Maxine Kazis, 33). .

After a few adversities, this ultimately leads to tenderness at the bedside.

And to other gossip on the net: "Yes, nice in the hospital room, young love and so on.

Storylines like these have always been an integral part of the ZDF series.
