The Narrhalla created an ambience for their eagerly awaited enthronement ball that made the sadness of an old school gym completely forgotten for one night.
Attenkirchen's 3rd mayor Josef Fischer emphasized this explicitly and quite rightly when handing over the keys to their sweetheart Jessica I and Prince Consort Kevin I.
How a gym became a real ballroom
"What you see here today is worthy of all honor," said Fischer, considering the ballroom that shone in festive splendor.
He added appreciatively that this says something about the high level of carnival in Attenkirchen.
Fischer represented Mayor Mathias Kern, who was unable to attend due to a private appointment.
The handing over of the keys, the parade of the guards and the entire court were a first highlight in the consistently demanding program of the enthronement ball 2023.
The guard provided a very impressive little foretaste of what was still to be expected.
To the driving bass of Helene Fischer's "Herzbeben", the guard girls put a first bold foot on the floor, much to the delight of the audience.
There was a lot of momentum and dynamism behind it.

The opening dance by Jessica I. and Prince Kevin I also testified to grace and grace. The green-and-black-robed madcaps literally floated across the dance floor.
The dance-crazy among the 300 or so visitors had already let off steam at the.
To the party music of "Landy und die Landeier", a bold-looking trio that knew how to heat up the audience with classics like "Mendocino" by Michael Holm or Austropop hits like "Du apologetic" by Peter Cornelius.
Although the "country bumpkins" dared to cheat a little with the text.
"Please take me to Mendocino" suddenly became "Please take me to Attenkirchen".

The midnight show turned out to be the ultimate hit at the enthronement ball.
Not only because of the breathtaking and acrobatic performance of the 26-strong show dance group, but also because of the mega basses that made the hall tremble.
The party mix based on Bon Jovi's "It's my Life" had it all.

The three-story lifting figures, which reached up to the roof, amazed the already enthusiastic audience.
It's hard to believe what the royal couple, guards and show dancers had put together in the truest sense of the word.
In addition, the perfectly staged midnight show lasted over 20 minutes.
No wonder that the subsequent march of the show dance group was accompanied by cheers and thunderous applause.
