The first ground-breaking ceremony is to take place before Pentecost: In Wolfratshausen, a school conversion project costing around 50 million euros will begin this year.
Wolfratshausen – The general refurbishment and extension of the elementary and middle school on Hammerschmiedweg is the most extensive construction project that the city council has initiated in recent decades.
With investment costs of around 50 million euros, it is also the most expensive.
50 million euros expensive: school conversion in Wolfratshausen picks up speed
The mayor of Wolfratshausen expects the first groundbreaking this year, according to Klaus Heilinglechner when asked by our newspaper.
In their last meeting of the past year, the members of the City Council's building committee unanimously authorized Heilinglechner to award the contract for the work to relocate the waste water sewer on the property in the city centre.
According to current cost calculations, this will add up to almost 244,000 euros.
Previously, Thomas Wenig from the town hall's building and real estate department had said: The planning and preparations for the mammoth project are "progressing".
According to him, the work and trades will be put out to tender “in packages” from the end of January/beginning of February.
The cost tracking, formerly called the cost estimate, will be presented to the city council with the award of the first order package in April of this year.
The order is expected to be awarded this month
In order to be able to keep to the schedule - the excavation pit is to be excavated from Pentecost 2023 - various preliminary measures are still necessary, according to Wenig.
For reasons of nature conservation law, the clearing work on the property must be completed by the end of February.
"The existing waste water sewer must also be relocated from the west side to the east side of the complex before the start of the excavation work," the town hall employee explained to the citizens' representatives.
The work has already been put out to tender and the contract is to be awarded in January.
The canal relocation will cost almost 244,000 euros, because according to Little, "it's going down deep".
Elementary and middle school will be expanded to include a teaching pool
As reported, a teaching pool is being built for the hammersmith school.
Space is created for the technology under the pool floor, and the folded waste water channel runs underneath.
The expert committee did not see a reason for discussions, the decision was made with 10:0 votes.
