Christina Drechsler was born on January 1, 1982 in Berlin.

In 1997, while she was still at school, she got a role in the RTL-II soap “All together – everyone for themselves”.

Shortly thereafter, she appeared on stage in various smaller roles in the renowned Maxim Gorki Theater.

She later studied acting at the well-known Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Christina Drechsler was very successful as a theater actress (among others in “Wildente”, “Threepenny Opera” and “Faust”) and earned a lot of praise for her roles.

She also discovered her love for television, taking part in “Polizeiruf 110” (1999), “In aller Freundlich” (2005) and “Stromberg” (2009-2010), among others.

Her supporting role in the film drama "Die Unsichtbare" (2011) even earned her a nomination for the German Film Prize.
