Four people were killed in the collapse of a five-storey building in Assiut Governorate, southern Egypt.
The Egyptian newspaper, Al-Akhbar, reported that a five-storey building in the Qalta area collapsed, and four bodies were recovered, while rescue teams managed to pull out a girl and an elderly woman from under the rubble, and they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The security authorities imposed a security cordon around the building and the neighboring houses, and assigned the executive agencies to inspect the collapsed site.
