The United States announced its intention to send 4,000 unguided Zuni missiles to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package.
The American network (CNBC) quoted US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper as saying: “We will provide 4,000 Zuni air-to-air missiles, and they can also be installed on helicopters,” indicating that these are “short-range air-to-surface missiles.”
The Russian ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, recently confirmed that Washington does not want a political settlement to the Ukrainian crisis, and does not take into account the serious consequences resulting from supplying the Kyiv regime with weapons, referring in this context to the White House's decision to hand over Bradley combat vehicles to Ukraine.
