Nathaniel Aharon Malko is the 15-year-old boy who was stabbed to death during a fight on a weekend day.
According to a close relative of the family, it was apparently a misidentification and he was not the target.
The attackers chased after Nathaniel and another friend until they stabbed him.
Nathaniel's friends paid tribute to him on social networks, "Watch over us from above," wrote one of them.
Another friend added: "Nathaniel, I love you no matter what. Just know that everyone loves a person like you with a heart. You always helped someone who needed help, you weren't afraid to stand up for yourself."

"Nathaniel my brother you always loved to do nonsense and you always helped me when I needed it," another friend added.
"Nathaniel I love you brother, I miss you so much. Every day I cry. You are a good friend with a good heart, you connected with a lot of people and it was a privilege to know you. I love you, take care of us," said another friend.
"How you left us alone, no one still understands. No one will forget you. You were the heart of our neighborhood. Everyone loved you. You don't understand how many people miss you," continued another friend.
"It's hard for everyone to talk about you in the past tense. The neighborhood won't be like it was fun and funny. Now everyone is crying over you and everyone is reminiscing about being with you."
The 15-year-old was stabbed on Friday night in Rishon Lezion.
The MDA team that was called to the scene gave him initial medical treatment and evacuated him to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Be'er Ya'akov, where his condition was critical and unstable. Hours later, the doctors had no choice but to determine his death. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident was opened.
