Thai authorities have announced that adult foreigners must show proof that they have received two doses of coronavirus vaccines, as a condition for entering the country.
The Bangkok Post quoted the Civil Aviation Administration of Thailand as saying in a statement: “Local authorities and Thai airlines will start checking vaccination certificates for those who travel to Thailand and enter the country through international airports starting today.”
According to a statement published by the Thai Civil Aviation Authority on its website, unvaccinated visitors will need a medical report justifying not receiving the vaccine, and the rules will apply until January 31.
Unvaccinated travelers who were infected with Corona and recovered at least six months before arriving in Thailand will be required to present certificates issued by the medical institution where they were treated.
