In 2021, she was the first to file a complaint against

Patrick Poivre d'Arvor

.

She accuses the TF1 journalist of having raped her twice between 2004 and 2009. The latter then lodges a complaint against her for

"slanderous denunciation"

.

About twenty other women are heard in the preliminary investigation and about ten other complaints are filed.

"We have nothing to gain by denouncing sexual violence against a man as powerful, as famous and who was as appreciated by the French as Patrick Poivre d'Arvor is"

explains Florence Porcel on the set of France 5.

" We have everything to lose.

I lost everything my dignity, my honor, my career, part of my income,

"I was not educated in the criminal definition of rape"

On June 25, 2021, the Nanterre public prosecutor's office declared the case closed, mainly for prescription.

Patrick Poivre d'Arvor's complaint against Florence Porcel is also dismissed.

“The good rape is a woman who screams, who shouts, who struggles.

I was unable to understand what was happening to me.

When it happens to me what happened to me in 2004, I had never had sexual intercourse and I was not educated in the criminal definition of rape.

I couldn't recognize what happened to me as rape.

It took me 14 years to recognize it”

then says Florence Porcel to explain, according to her, the reasons which, beyond the prescription of the facts, closed her first complaint without follow-up.

She adds :

“I would like to remind you that even if I have already seen it or not before, a rape is what is happening at the time of the facts, if there has been coercion, threat, violence or surprise”.

The author and host again filed a complaint, this time with a civil action, to obtain the opening of a new investigation entrusted to investigating judges.

“I hope that there will be a trial one day so that he can explain himself in court.

I want the conclusion of this file to be judicial”

she explains to Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine who is conducting the interview before declaring: “

My love life he stole it from me before I filed a complaint.

He traumatized me, he screwed me

up
