Authorities in the US state of California revealed that the death toll from the storms that swept the state recently reached 12, noting that California and several regions will witness more continuous storms, which will lead to massive amounts of rain and snow.
And the Associated Press quoted California Governor Gavin Newsom as saying: “As a result of severe weather conditions during the past ten days, 12 people have died,” warning that the storms that will hit this week could be more dangerous, calling on residents to stay in their homes.
And evacuation warnings have been activated for about 13,000 residents of flood-affected areas in San Francisco.
