An earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale struck today the Tanimbar Islands in the Maluku province, southern Indonesia.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Monitoring stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 97 kilometers below the surface of the earth, without talking about injuries or issuance of warnings of tsunami waves.
