A 40-year-old man was moderately injured today (Monday) after being attacked by children with an iron bar at a playground in Or Yehuda.
The man admonished the children for vandalizing public property in the garden on Mordechai Ben Purat Street in the city - and in response he was hit on the head.
The MDA team that was called to the scene gave him initial medical treatment and evacuated him to Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital as he was suffering from damage to his upper body.
MDA emergency medic Gabi Chen who was called to the scene said that he saw the injured man lying inside the park.
"He was unconscious and suffered severe bruises on his upper body. We gave him medical treatment that included immobilization and dressings, and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care vehicle to the hospital."

Last July, the manager of the "Heart of the City" parking lot in the center of Herzliya was attacked by two people.
