The carnival society Fools' Island enthroned their princely couples at the coronation ball in the council chamber.
Their names are Angelo I, Sarah I, Max I and Lisa III.
Geretsried/Wolfratshausen - It is a ritual that not only Lisa Gösse, Maximilian Schweiger, Sarah Stier and Angelo Pedatella had longed for.
On Saturday evening, the quartet of the carnival society Narreinsel received the coronation insignia in the council chamber and will now rule in Geretsried and Wolfratshausen until the end on February 21st.
The two mayors got on their knees in front of the two carnival prince couples.

"If the world becomes foolish, it might become more sensible," hopes Michael Müller.
The mayor of Geretsried willingly handed over the keys to the town hall.
As reported, his Wolfratshausen colleague Klaus Heilinglechner had already done this when the madness was proclaimed on November 11 - and had Günther Eibl represent him on Saturday.
"It's always fun to be with you," said Wolfratshausen's deputy mayor enthusiastically.

At the coronation ball, not everything went smoothly at first.
Admission at the door of the council chambers was tough, so many fools had to stand in a long queue.
After that, the sound system went on strike for a while, and it sometimes made creaking sounds throughout the evening.
The four Gardens - "Island Dancers", "Speedys", "Dancing Fires" and "Crazy Housewives" - were not deterred and showed impressive choreographies.
In between, the resigning princely couples Julie I and Max IV as well as Lisa II and Dominik I danced a waltz.

Mayor Müller and his wife Daniela didn't want to be asked too long either.
The couple took over the honorary title of "Ambassadors of Joy" at the request of Fool's Island a year ago and lived up to this pleasant obligation.
There was strong applause for this from the friendly guards from Unterhaching and Starnberg, who paid homage to the two new royal couples with their delegations.
