Champigny-sur-Marne: an 18-year-old man in critical condition after being stabbed, the author arrested

A 22-year-old man was quickly arrested after he seriously stabbed an 18-year-old in the middle of the street on Monday


The fight between the two men was extremely violent.

A young man, aged 18, was evacuated in critical condition after receiving several stab wounds in the chest, close to the town hall of Champigny-sur-Marne, early Monday afternoon.

Suspect arrested in hospital

Meanwhile, the alleged perpetrator fled on foot but did not get far.

“He was arrested while he was being treated in a hospital”, specifies a source close to the file, without specifying the content of his injuries.

They do not seem too important, the suspect having been taken into custody.

The two men are known to justice.

At this stage, all hypotheses are considered by the investigators.

"It could be linked to a settling of scores," says someone close to the case.

“According to the first elements, we are not on a phenomenon of bands”, points out another source.
