Kosher London cocktails in Petah Tikva • Vietnamese happy hours in Tel Aviv • Italian pasta for a greener future • The French cake that will fly you to Paris • The section celebrates cosmopolitanism

Karambo (and whiskey) lovers, get ready:

starting January 12 and for 10 days, Israel's first Karambo pop-up will be set up on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, where you can enjoy versions of the winter dessert as you have never imagined.

First of all, the carambois that will be served at the pop-up are generally called "Glanboims", after the brand of Glenmorangie whiskey, which maintains the project in collaboration with three masters of desserts: "Baikoff Israel" winner Tomer Umansky, pastry chef Adi Klinghofer and the one who is going to star as a judge in the reality show "The Dessert" The Perfect" - Chef Avi Biton.

Each of the three created three glenbois for the project, such as a pecan cinnabon glenboe filled with salted caramel cream and coated with Umanski's blondie chocolate;

Glenbow lemon pistachio with pistachio mascarpone cream, coated with white chocolate and garnished with Klinghoffer ground pistachios;

And Glenbow alcoholic apple crumble combined with Glenmorangie covered in Beaton's blondie chocolate.

All of these will be served alongside Glenmorangie cocktails specially brewed for the event, and come on - admit that you are already looking for ways to access the boulevard.

Japan is (almost) here.

The Mina Tomei chain is launching a new Japanese menu based on sushi and dishes such as tuna tamari and foie gras (rice balls seasoned with spicy peanuts and micro shiso leaves, with red tuna tataki in sesame-wasabi, foie gras, yuzu aioli and green onions - NIS 62);

and TaToffee (salmon tataki in toffee sauce with purikaka mixture, chopped chives and lime zest - NIS 49).

In the recommended rolls section: Caesar Roll (sea bream in tempura, truffle puree, cucumber and sriracha, wrapped in onion and avocado and decorated with tobiko and ponzo-Japanese sauce - NIS 52) and Batera (sushi coated with fried and crispy rice pearls, with salmon tartare seasoned with ponzo-yuzu sauce and lemon curd, yuzu and tograshi aioli - NIS 56).

Both a patisserie, a boulangerie and a flight to Paris?

Merci!

Until the end of January, Maison Kaiser will partner with Air France, and this is how it works: a flight ticket to the French capital Mottman with one of the king cakes offered at the chain's four Tel Aviv branches.

Did you give the winning bite?

First of all, chew (but not the card!), swallow, and only then start packing.

The collaboration takes place on the occasion of the French King's Day this month, and for those who are wondering: a king cake is a mega-addictive hollow puff pastry cake filled with almond cream.

Get to work, it's not like the card will find itself or anything.

cold outside?

So eat more ice cream.

The Vanilla chain is expanding its range of flavors with three new ones: Amaretto-Amarna (chocolate ice cream fortified with alcoholic flavors, plus Amarna cherries);

Cheesecake crumbs (sour cream ice cream and crumble crumbs dipped in butter) and a comeback flavor due to crowd demand - marshmallow.

Lick her.

An authentic and kosher London cocktail bar in... Petah Tikva?

It turns out there is such a thing.

Sea fish cigar (herbs, lemon, shallots and garlic aioli - NIS 62);

and chopped fish salad (fish shawarma, tahini whipped cream, vegetables, bulgul, lentils, pine nuts and herbs - 72).

In the new cocktails: Lychee Swing (vodka, lychee syrup, vanilla, Cinzano Bianco, lime and orange peel - NIS 52) and Ouzo Pear (ouzo, Calvados, pear cordial, vanilla syrup and coriander - NIS 49).

Regards to King Charles.

The Segev Express restaurant in Krayon (Derech Acre 192, Kiryat Bialik) is celebrating five years with a menu of specials from Nihon No-Ba, Segev's Japanese restaurant, which is jumping north.

Made it all the way on the coastal road: Stir-fried Rice & Fish (salmon with rice in a yellow curry sauce, chili, peanuts and cashews);

Curry and seaweed (grilled fish fillet, curry stew, green beans, mushrooms and leeks);

Spicy coconut corn soup (red curry, udon noodles, sprouts, green leaves and peanuts) and salmon salad (vegetables, peanuts, sesame, soba noodles and crispy salmon cubes).

Regular guests at the restaurant?

So you should take out a "Segav Gold North" card, which will give you a 15% discount on your next order (accumulation on Sunday-Thursday from 17:00, until March 31).

January, you know, is the month of Cheesy Bites at Pizza Hut.

On the agenda: a comeback of the coveted Cheesy Bites Remix pizza with "skulls" filled with cheese in the flavors of garlic, dill, sriracha and home fries (creamy chili sauce).

You can also find particularly cheesy deals: a cheesy remix family and a regular family for NIS 120;

Cheesy Bites family + side dish + drink for NIS 110;

Tea with mint is drunk at home, not in the laboratory.

At TLAB, Vysotsky's concept store in Tel Aviv (Hashmonaim 103), they concocted a collection of winter drinks that was entrusted to mixologist Assaf Amir.

What are you sipping?

Matcha Latte (Japanese matcha and hot frothed milk - NIS 18);

Chocotea (Earl Gray tea, whipped milk, brown sugar and cocoa - NIS 18);

Ginger Lemon Honey (green tea, ginger, honey and lemon - 18 NIS) and Sangria Wine Tea (black tea, Cabernet Sauvignon, rum, Campari, spices and red fruits - 34 NIS).

This is what we call the first for Tion.

How do you say "happy hours" in Vietnamese?

We haven't opened Google Translate yet, but Moshu - the Asian cocktail bar of K-Fah Hanoi Hachshara (Frishman 77, Tel Aviv) - offers in the evenings two glasses of sake and Japanese liqueurs at half price, and a 30% discount on the bottles.

Prefer to have lunch, and preferably not expensively?

So Hanoi Cafe itself is launching a new business menu.

On Sunday-Thursday between 12:00 and 15:00, you can enjoy a main dish and a drink for NIS 49, or a starter, main course and a drink starting at NIS 65.

Conchili, tortellini and macaroni for a greener future, and al dente no less.

The Barila pasta brand is going international and removing the transparent plastic windows from all its packaging (that's all, we know what the pasta looks like - there's a picture), thus making them environmentally friendly and recyclable.

Bravo.
