There were many acclaimed performances on Saturday at the enthronement ball in Fahrenzhausen.

The fools started the 44th carnival season with a glittering ball night.

Fahrenzhausen

– It's been a long time since you've seen such a lavish ball night.

With the enthronement of their madcaps Princess Veronika I and Prince Martin II, the Fahrenzhausen-Kammerberg carnival club delighted hundreds of visitors on Friday.

The fools enjoyed themselves until the early hours of the morning.

The carnival club Fahrenzhausen-Kammerberg has once again done a great job.

As with the Auf-Geht´s Ball in mid-November, the enthronement ball on Friday lived up to its reputation as a carnival stronghold.

The multi-purpose hall shone in the splendor of a Venetian ballroom.

The white and silver decoration seemed to have been made for a special kind of carnival. After a forced two-year break, the 400 or so visitors could hardly wait for the royal couple to move in with their entire court.

Even during the "warm-up laps" by the show band "el Prosit" there was no stopping them.

The dance floor was packed and the mood was great.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

After all, the arrival of the royal household was imminent.

The tension increased noticeably.

Then, when her loveliness Princess Veronika I and her Prince Consort Martin II made their way to the stage in the tow of Court Marshal Christoph Hagn, the enthusiasm knew no bounds.

There was applause from all sides.

A mood that was to increase even further during the celebrated performances by the Kindergarde and Garde.

The joy of finally being able to celebrate carnival properly again was clearly noticeable to those involved, but above all to the audience.

The guards delighted the many visitors at the enthronement ball.

This was not only expressed by Veronika I. and Martin II. The child prince couple Melina I. and Benedict II. also warmly invited the audience to celebrate carnival.

The words of welcome from Mayor Susanne Hartmann fit well into the picture.

"We are aware that our community in the district is something very special and can celebrate particularly foolishly," said Hartmann.

The town hall keys, which she had just ceremoniously handed over, could be used, Hartmann said.

About to clean up the archive.

The child prince couple could already start sorting with their court.

Veronika and Martin could then file the documents and sort them by year, suggested the head of town hall with a wink and a lot of laughter.

Court Marshal Christoph Hagn made it clear.

"It's not just an inthroball.

We are practically starting the 44th year of the carnival association today.

And we want to celebrate that with our guard girls, with our Elferrat and with our royal couples throughout the carnival season," he said.

It was the start of a whole series of acclaimed performances.

A graceful dance performance by the children's guard was to be followed by a spirited can-can by the prince's guard.

Anyone who thought that this was already the highest of feelings saw themselves taught better by the performances of the Kindergarde and Prinzengarde at the latest.

The children's guard fascinated the audience with oriental flair, the prince's guard finally shrouded the hall in fiery red wafts of fog,

before the story of the "Legend of Fire" began.

A fairy tale from the mythical world of the Indians.

Fascinating and furiously performed by the royal couple and guard.

Artistic valuable performances, which were accompanied by loud shouts for more.

But the enthronement ball in Fahrenzhausen was far from over.

It was celebrated till the early hours.
