Four thieves burglarized a jewelry store in Hung Hom, and the ambushed detectives caught them all.
Today (9th) at 10:00 am, a group of detectives from the serious crime team continued to investigate in the jewelry store, watching CCTV and other evidence collection.
Four men were arrested.

The incident happened at around 4:00 am today (9th). The detectives received a tip-off that a group of habitual criminals would carry out a burglary in Hung Hom District, so they monitored outside the target jewelry store.
Sure enough, two men arrived at a jewelry store at the junction of Shuen O Street and Tak Man Street, broke open the gate and committed crimes, and the plainclothes policemen covered them up and subdued them.
The plainclothes police officers also arrested the male driver of the car; a man suspected of "watching the water" stopped the taxi and tried to escape. The police stopped the taxi immediately and arrested the man "watching the water".
Among the 4 arrested persons, 3 of them held Hong Kong identity cards and 1 was an illegal immigrant, aged between 24 and 53.
The arrested person was carrying a walkie-talkie at the time of the incident.
There was no loss to the jewelry store involved.
The police stopped the taxi and arrested the passengers.
