A traffic accident occurred in Kwun Tong. Today (9th) at 12:56 noon, a 10M minibus approached the Kwun Tong Police Station via Lei Yue Mun Road. When Lei Yue Mun Road turned into Tseung Kwan O Road, it suddenly lost control and crashed into a barrier.

The police and firefighters arrived at the scene after receiving the report. The 64-year-old minibus driver was trapped and rescued by the firefighters.

The remaining nine people in the car were slightly injured, including a passenger holding a baby.

Passenger Mr. Li pointed out that the driver of the minibus did not refuel when turning, and fainted after hitting the railing, but the minibus continued at high speed.

Li saw that "the road is not right", so he took action to control the steering wheel, and said bluntly, "I don't even want to die", describing the process as thrilling.

At the time of the incident, the minibus turned along Lei Yue Mun Road onto Tseung Kwan O Road, bumped into an iron railing while turning, and then hit a stone wall on the right.

A passenger, Mr. Li, said in an interview that the driver of the minibus did not refuel when turning, and described the minibus as "just wanting to go fast, and it became a mess when it hit the railing." The driver suspected fainting after hitting the railing, but the minibus continued to drive at high speed 100 metres.

Mr. Li, who had his own license plate, realized that the situation was "the wrong road, and the minibus continued to shovel and bury it." The driver of the minibus fainted again, so he helped to control the steering wheel.

The minibus then shoveled onto the slope and stopped.

Mr. Li bluntly said, "I don't even want to die." The process was very thrilling, and the fingers of his right hand were also injured afterwards.

The 64-year-old minibus driver surnamed Du was once trapped, rescued by firefighters, and conscious when sent to the hospital.

What was seen at the scene, the driver left the first transfer at 6:05 this morning, and drove the 22nd transfer at 1:00 p.m., and then an accident occurred.

He and 4 male and 5 female passengers (aged 17 to 73) in the car were sent to the United Hospital for treatment. The passengers reported back, neck, waist and chest pains.

The Transport Department announced that due to a traffic accident, part of the traffic lane on Tseung Kwan O Road towards Tseung Kwan O near Kwun Tong Playground was temporarily closed. The traffic on the site was heavy, and the block was lifted at 2:18 pm.
