A traffic accident occurred in Kwun Tong. At 12:56 noon today (9th), a 10M minibus was approaching the Kwun Tong Police Station via Lei Yue Mun Road. When Lei Yue Mun Road turned into Tseung Kwan O Road, it suddenly lost control and crashed into a barrier.

The 64-year-old minibus driver was trapped and rescued by firefighters.

The remaining 11 people in the car were slightly injured, including a passenger holding a baby.

The passenger, Mr. Li, pointed out that the driver of the minibus did not refill the fuel while turning, and fell into a coma after hitting the railing, so Zhiyi took control of the steering wheel, bluntly said "I don't even want to die" and described the process as thrilling, and finally stopped after driving 100 meters.

At the time of the incident, the minibus turned along Lei Yue Mun Road onto Tseung Kwan O Road, bumped into an iron railing while turning, and then hit a stone wall on the right.

A passenger, Mr. Li, said in an interview that the driver of the minibus did not refuel when turning, and described the minibus as "just wanting to go fast, and it became a mess when it hit the railing." The driver suspected fainting after hitting the railing, but the minibus continued to drive at high speed 100 metres.

Mr. Li, who had his own license plate, realized that the situation was "the wrong road, and the minibus continued to shovel and bury it." The driver of the minibus fainted again, so he helped to control the steering wheel.

The minibus then shoveled onto the slope and stopped.

Mr. Li bluntly said, "I don't even want to die." The process was very thrilling.

The Transport Department announced that due to a traffic accident, part of the traffic lane on Tseung Kwan O Road towards Tseung Kwan O near Kwun Tong Playground was closed. Drivers can only use the remaining traffic lanes. The traffic on the site is heavy.
