Every year after the holidays, it's always the same refrain: where to get rid of your Christmas tree?
Thorny question to which the town hall of Nice, anxious to fight against incivility and illegal deposits, provides a very practical answer.
In fact, the municipality and the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis make available to the people of Nice, from Monday, eleven enclosures strategically distributed on the territory of the city for the collection of Christmas trees, and this, until January 23 inclusive. .
Here is the full list:
Place des Vignerons de Bellet
6-12 Place Dominique Fighiera
Recyclerie des Moulins: 19 rue Mère Teresa
2 rue Isadora Duncan: next to the Jardin Général Ferrie
3 rue de la Gare du Sud
6 boulevard Victor-Hugo
Facing 75 Boulevard Victor Hugo (Alsace Lorraine Garden)
4 avenue du Monastère (opposite the local hub)
Musso car park: 137 Avenue Henri Dunant
Toja Square
Palio Square
An approach that is also intended to be eco-responsible, since these trees will be recycled into compost, like all metropolitan green waste.
Please note that artificial fir trees will not be accepted in these enclosures and must be taken to the recycling center.
The inhabitants of the Metropolis can also deposit their tree, free of charge, in one of the thirteen recycling centers of the territory.
They will be freely accessible if the user goes to the recycling center with only a Christmas tree.
