The Speaker of the Knesset, MK Amir Ohana, announced today (Monday) his decision to appoint Chief of Staff (retired) Moshe (Chiko) Adri to the position of Director General of the Knesset.

Adri (55), married and father of three, a resident of Kfar Oranim, has a bachelor's degree in Palestine Studies and a master's degree in Middle East Studies.

After his military service, which he finished as deputy commander of the Golani Patrol, he joined the Israel Police where he served the security of the state for 28 years and served in senior field, management and officer positions such as: head of the traffic division, security secretary and chief of the operational staff to the Minister of Defense, commander of the Jerusalem district and commander of the Tel district Spring.
