The death of the storyteller and writer Muhammad Nadim in the city of Qamishli

The cultural family in Al-Hasakah Governorate mourned the writer and storyteller Muhammad Nadim, who passed away this morning at his home in the city of Qamishli at the age of 81.

The late storyteller was one of the pioneers of short stories, literature, and theatrical directing in the governorate. He worked in the legal profession, and had a remarkable presence in the cultural and literary activities that were held on cultural platforms and cultural centers. He also published several collections of stories.

Director of Culture Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed, in a statement to SANA reporter, explained that the literary and cultural scene in Syria in general and Al-Hasakah in particular lost the late writer, who is considered one of the first generation of writers in the province, and had a beautiful presence in cultural platforms, and is considered the oldest member of the Union of Arab Writers in Al-Hasakah Governorate, and he has many It is one of the collections of short stories with a variety of subjects, as it was characterized by an abundance of creativity, despite the disease's attack on it during the past years.

Writer and researcher Ahmed Al-Hussein indicated that the cultural family in Al-Hasakah Governorate mourns the writer and creative storyteller Muhammad Nadim after a long life of creativity during which he gifted the Arab Library more than eight collections of stories, in addition to his work in theater, law and literary journalism, so he was a pioneering name that will remain present in the conscience and memory of the inherited cultural and creative in the province.

The late writer had published several collections of stories: The Child, The Adventure, A New Year, Unknown Heroes, A Private World, Happy Endings, If a Flower Smiled, Conflict and Legacy.
