The hearing in the Netanyahu trial was interrupted today (Monday) after a confrontation between the prosecution and defense attorneys.
The altercation began in response to a question that attorney Boaz Ben Zur, Netanyahu's defense attorney, asked the witness Polina Govzman Kriv, an investigator at the Securities Authority: "We checked the diary, take into account that there is no meeting with Filber?"
Kriv: "My check was from May, at the time It's true, I didn't do the test."
At this point in time, Tirosh responded: "I disagree with the way things were presented: there are memos regarding what is in the diary.
No one said to us that it is not in the diary, but in the memos of the investigation materials of what is in the diary, we understand what is not in the diary, I have not encountered many times what is not in the diary."
Ben Tzur: "Did you know that there is no meeting in the first week?
Did you know and file such an indictment?".
Tirosh: "Yes, I knew, and the evidence has only grown stronger since then."
At this point, the tension increased in the courtroom as the defense attorneys snickered in disbelief at Tirosh's answer.
Tirosh addressed the judges: "I have been a lawyer for 25 years and I have never encountered such a style, in such an ugly way."
Ben Tzur: "And I have not come across such an indictment."

Attorney Jacques Chen asked to respond to Tirosh's words, but the panel's chairwoman, Judge Rebecca Friedman Feldman, refused, saying that they had moved on, and Chen shouted at the judges that he was demanding a response.
Friedman Feldman: "My lord will not shout at us and lower the tones. My lady said what she said, she was hurt."
Chen: "She's only been a lawyer for 25 years, and I've only been a lawyer for 30 years and I haven't come across a cover-up."
Friedman Feldman: "Lawyer Chen, we're done with it."
Chen ignored the judge and continued to shout, saying it was a "scandal", and in response Judge Friedman Feldman announced a five minute break.
