The Secretariat of National Defense of Mexico reported that this Saturday, in coordination with the state government of Sinaloa, it carried out different activities of a social nature in Jesús María, a municipality in Culiacán affected by the outbreak of violence that caused the capture of Ovidio Guzmán, son of "El Chapo".

According to a statement, 210 soldiers from the Mexican Army, 80 members of the National Guard and 68 civilians from the Federal Electricity Commission, CONAGUA and the Red Cross, among others, participated in the federal government's social program.

For its part, the Sinaloa state government provided a force made up of dozens of specialists in social, food, health and safety assistance.
