Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, head of the Egyptian Suez Canal Authority, announced the return of the navigation movement in the canal to normal after the success of floating the stranded ship Glory, which had a malfunction while crossing the canal.
Egyptian media quoted Rabih as saying in a statement today: “The authority’s marine rescue team dealt professionally with a sudden technical failure of the machinery of the Sub-Glory, which is passing within the northern convoy on its journey to China, where the idle ship is now being towed.”
He pointed out that the navigation movement in the canal was regular, and a ship from the southern convoy entered, and the northern convoy will cross after the resumption of the towed ship crossing the canal with the help of the authority's locomotives.
