This weekend, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy posted a photo of her mother, Marisa Borini, to share a new secret of her form.
And it's a tip that they obviously share from mother to daughter.
In the photo, the nonagenarian musician and actress is seen wearing a beanie and wearing a beige sweater submerged in water.
In legend, the wife of Nicolas Sarkozy writes: “Here is my mother @marisa_b_t, 93 years old … In our family we are followers of cold water: daily frozen baths and showers.”
The singer explains that the cold is "a benefit for the whole organism and the energy that one feels after taking a shower in cold water is amazing."
She ends by asking her followers if they have already tried it, adding: "It may seem barbaric (especially in the middle of winter) but you come out totally revitalized... try to see!".
And to wish everyone a good weekend.

The benefits of cold
Indeed, the benefits of cold showers are regularly highlighted.
What is also called the Scottish shower acts in particular on the level of the circulation with the vessels which tighten, improving the venous return.
But it's also a beauty tip since cold water tones and firms.
Washing your hair with cold water helps to "fight against sagging skin and has a tightening effect on the skin", explained Marie-Paule Le Déoré, head of care training at the Carnac Thalasso in May 2015.
