Frédéric Lopez's program broadcast on France 2 on Sunday interrupts its programming from January 15th.

Fans will have to wait.

"A Sunday in the Country" will not be broadcast on Sunday, January 15.

Nor the following Sunday.

The reason ?

France 2 must broadcast matches of the Champions Cup, the rugby competition.

Frédéric Lopez's show will return on Sunday January 29 before being interrupted again by the oval ball.

The Six Nations Tournament, which takes place from February 4 to March 18, 2023, is indeed broadcast on La Deux.

Sunday, February 5, the meeting Italy-France is also offered to viewers.

It will thus be necessary to wait until April to find the successful Sunday program on a more recurring basis.

This is not the first time since its launch on October 23 that "A Sunday in the countryside" has to interrupt its programming.

Throughout the month of December, the faithful were deprived of it because of the Stade Toulousain matches scheduled for the same time slot.

Frédéric Lopez and his guests returned on December 25.

For this Christmas issue, the former host of “Rendez-vous en terre unknown” received Inès Reg, Gérard Jugnot and Sébastien Thoen.
