She had been found unconscious, on the pedestrian crossing, a bleeding wound in the head.
She was taken under motorized escort to the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital in Paris after cardiac massage.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the young woman was hit by a white utility vehicle equipped with a dumpster.
Its driver, a 45-year-old man who presented himself to the police after the accident, was arrested and taken into custody.
The first screening tests for alcohol and narcotics came back negative.
"To date, no witness to the accident has been found," said a police source.
Investigators currently only have his testimony and are therefore looking for witnesses.
