A man from Franconia was not very enthusiastic about a popular potato product at Jodel.
There was opposition and encouragement and a lively discussion.
Stein – Jodel is particularly popular with young users.
On the platform, people share both serious topics (e.g. the fear of not being able to find an affordable apartment) and curious discoveries from everyday life, such as a – or rather two – note in a Kaufland branch.
Croquette yodel causes discussion – “Then I like to be a snob”
A man from Stein near Nuremberg used Jodel at the beginning of January to make a claim: "Croquettes are fries for snobs," he wrote there.
"Croquettes are french fries deluxe," was contradicted almost immediately.
And another person wrote: "Then I like to be a snob," he added the hashtag "croquette love".
And another person also came out as a fan: "Croquettes = love.
Tastes crispy and cuddly at the same time.”

Jodel discussion: "Croquettes are just as junk as fries"
But not everyone is a fan of croquettes: "Croquettes don't taste that good at all", was also read.
"Croquettes are just as junk as fries," another person was not enthusiastic about any of the products.
"I think curly fries are fries for snobs," someone brought another potato product into the discussion.
But that's not all: "First I got Duchess potatoes from Lidl.
These are croquettes for snobs," wrote another person.

Croquette discussion on Jodel degenerates
"Pork loin in pepper cream sauce with fries is weird now," someone wrote in reference to the croquette origin claim.
"With croquettes too," someone said, almost shocked.
"Really?
What are you eating with that?” came the counter-question immediately.
"So classic with spaetzle, I personally also like potato salad (but it's not classic).
But croquettes/fries/anything fried really not,” the one replied.
"Can't imagine the potato salad now," said the person to a smiley smile.
Nobody could imagine that, but the potato salad fan also admitted immediately.
