In celebration of the Arab Theater Day, the Directorate of Theaters and Music - Aleppo National Theater presented a theatrical show entitled “Tales from the Diary Book” on the stage of the National Book House in Aleppo.

The play, written by Walid Aqel, and directed by Moataz Sejri, delves into a social comic template between the two states of ebb and flow in the midst of the marital institution, reflecting her life, details, contradictions, and daily concerns.

The director of the play, Sejri, said in a statement to SANA reporter: The work presents through social comedy through a dialogue between two families from two different generations, the details and concerns of daily life between spouses, and how each generation deals with these problems in its own way from its point of view.

Sejri stressed the importance of the Arab Theater Day, especially for the playwrights in Aleppo, as it sends a message of steadfastness and continuity, and that its curtain will not fall and its lights will not be extinguished, describing the Aleppo audience as an audience with high artistic taste.

Jaber al-Sajour, Director of Culture in Aleppo, indicated that the director will present a social theatrical performance, with the aim of highlighting the importance of theater in reaching the intellectual and cultural maturity of nations, especially since the theaters of Aleppo and Syria, despite all the circumstances of the war, continue to hold their theatrical activities.

It is noteworthy that the play is represented by each of the artists, “Muhammad Mulqi, Manisa Mardenelli, Tariq Khalili, Najat Katbi.”
