With Carlos Rosillo and Bruno Belamich, the founders of the ampersand brand, Alain Silberstein has created a trilogy of ceramic timepieces based on their emblematic BR 03. This trilogy offers a BR 03 time model with date, a BR 03 diving and a BR 03 chronograph.
Why this collaboration?
“If I could work with anyone, it would be Bell & Ross, among others, because the BR 01 is, in my opinion, one of the most unique and emblematic watches of our millennium”

“The BR 01 was an act of design genius.
The idea of taking inspiration from an aviation instrument panel and transposing this iconography into a wristwatch gave rise to one of the most important watches of the time.”

A few months later, in the magnificent Saint-James restaurant in Paris, two of the greatest designers of contemporary watchmaking therefore met and began to sketch out the plan for the collaboration.
“It was Bruno's idea to take the very essence of each of our design languages and reduce it to its most basic elements,
explains Alain Silberstein.
We immediately decided to make all three watches in black ceramic because of the purity of the black case and dial, which would serve as a canvas for the primary colors of my hands.
For me, it was perfect because I had always made black watches in the past, but never in ceramic, which is the only really scratch-resistant material.
I was delighted to finally have my ceramic watch!”

"With the chronograph, Carlos Rosillo explained that the seconds hand was by far the largest ever fitted to one of their watches, and we had to make sure the reset function worked perfectly every time so that it aligns exactly to zero. With the diver's watch, we needed to make sure those huge oversized hands were as light as possible, so they didn't affect the overall accuracy of the movement. Making a two-tone ceramic bezel was also a major challenge.”

These watches are for sale only on the Grail Watch website... and are selling out very quickly!
The first three-hand watch is equipped with an automatic movement with date function, the BR.CAL-302 caliber.
Manufactured in 200 copies, it is offered at 4200 €.
The diver's model, water-resistant to 300 meters, features a screw-down crown and is powered by the same automatic movement with date function and a BR.CAL-302 caliber.
Manufactured in 100 copies, it is displayed at 5400 €.

Finally, the Krono 22 chronograph model is at 6400 euros.
With a total of five of Silberstein's famous Bauhaus-inspired hands, it features the same red circle for hours and blue arrow for minutes, but now the yellow S-shaped hand serves as the chronograph seconds indicator.
All watches are individually numbered.
Numbers 1 to 50 are also sold all three in a box offered at 16,000 euros.
