Here you can qualify as a daycare supplement worker.

Poing – In order to counteract the lack of staff in daycare centers, the non-profit Kinderland PLUS GmbH based in Poing is offering the opportunity for the qualification of supplementary workers for the first time.

This happens in the newly founded Kinderland Campus, the training institute of Kinderland PLUS gGmbH.

"With a new extra-occupational qualification concept, which consists of three blocks, tailor-made and consecutive further training paths from assistant to supplementary worker to specialist with state recognition and ability to connect to vocational training should be made possible," writes the children's area in a press release.

The first series of training starts on February 1st, the registration deadline is Monday, January 16th.

For the supplementary qualification module offered by the Kinderland Campus, 200 teaching units spread over the period from February 2023 to January 2024 in blended learning format (presence/online/self-directed learning) are estimated, informs Kinderland PLUS.

“In addition to well-known training methods, instruments such as video feedback or collegial case advice are used.

The participants work at the same time in a day-care center and can be counted towards the employment key from the start of their further training – a great advantage for the providers.”

The course leader is Nina Bergs, an educator and studied childhood education with many years of experience as a manager and specialist advisor.

According to Kinderland PLUS, this is currently the only course of this type in the Munich, Ebersberg and Erding area.

The qualification measure takes place as part of the specialist recruitment concept of the Bavarian state government.
