Today, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs seized several catering bakeries, a fuel station, and a violating facility.
And the Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs, Eng. Rami al-Youssef, stated that the bakeries that were seized are in Ikrimah and the town of al-Mushrifah, in violation of the production and packaging of poorly made ration bread, and in the village of Hasur, in violation of the production and filling of ration bread with an underweight, and the total value of the fine amounted to 711,500 Syrian pounds.
Al-Youssef explained that a fuel station was also seized in the Rastan region, in violation of the removal of the official lead seals of the petrol pump, and a facility in the industrial city of Hassia was seized, in violation of not submitting a cost study for plastic pipes, and was fined 4 million Syrian pounds.
According to Al-Youssef, the seizures included the seizure of a rice distribution car in violation of not keeping an invoice book for wrapped rice, and a total quantity of 300 kg was seized, and a coffee warehouse was seized in the Tal Al-Shor area, with violations of not presenting a purchase invoice for coffee, and the practice of commercial activity without obtaining a license. It is necessary, in addition to seizing wholesale stores of food and non-food items in the neighborhoods of Al-Qusour, Karmi Al-Shami and Al-Dablan, with violations of selling at an excessive price and issuing an irregular invoice.
