(CNN) --

These are the nominees for the 80th edition of the Golden Globes 2023 (Golden Globe).

On December 12, Mayan López and Selenis Leyva, two of the stars of "López vs. López," announced the variety of film and television nominees selected by members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).

Favorite Oscar contender "The Banshees of Inisherin" led the film categories with eight nominations, including best motion picture, musical or comedy.

It stars Colin Firth and Brendan Gleeson.

The ceremony, which did not air last year due to the controversy surrounding the HFPA, will return to NBC on January 10.

Comedian Jerrod Carmichael will host.
