A 17-year-old boy in Germany was arrested after apparently murdering his teacher today (Tuesday) at the vocational school he attended in the northwest of the country.
The incident happened in Ibbenbueren, near the Dutch border, during the afternoon, when she was alone in the classroom.
The 55-year-old was stabbed to death with a knife, investigators said, after which the boy called the police.
It is not clear what the motive is and the authorities emphasized that the investigation is "only in its beginning".
