The Postal Directorate in Homs implemented, during the past year, the installation of 36 solar energy panels, with a total value of 279 million pounds, to ensure the continuity of work and the provision of services to citizens.
Fadia Saqr, Homs Post Director, told SANA reporter that the Directorate provides about 40 various services that save citizens time and effort, and secure additional financial revenues for the Directorate, including depositing and distributing parcels and postal items, depositing and paying postal transfers of all kinds, regular and immediate, and rent, indicating that there are additional services such as providing service Civil registry, non-working document, criminal record service, real estate bank and credit services, payment of virtual university transfers, e-mail service and military compensation.
Saqr said: The Directorate provides the service of paying the salaries of retirees on the social insurance, insurance and pension systems, who number 441,152 retirees with a financial mass that reached the limits of 30 billion, in addition to the service of home delivery of salaries to retirees who wish, whose number reached 52004 retirees, and the value of military compensations amounted to 6 billion.
She pointed out that there are 34 post offices spread across the governorate, 22 of which are currently operating providing all services, and a post office was opened in Al-Muhajireen in Al-Zahraa neighborhood, which saved a lot of effort and time for about 4 thousand retirees, pointing out that the plan for the current year includes the opening of the Mushrifah Post Office. , Merging some rural post offices and separating some from telephone centers.
