Kreuth pushes development: New commercial area at the top of the list of priorities

The municipality of Kreuth wants to boost the economic power in the village.

The designation of the commercial area on Wiesseer Straße is therefore a priority project in 2023.

- If you ask Kreuth's Mayor Josef Bierschneider (CSU) about the most important municipal projects for 2023, he says above all the designation and development of the new industrial park on Wiesseer Straße.

It has been decided that the approximately 8,000 square meter area to the west of the mixed-use area on Zamenhofweg will be used for commercial purposes.

“Applicants for the plots are selected according to our points system.

So they can start planning their new business premises as soon as the development has been completed," says the head of the community happily.

For its part, the municipality is planning a storage and functional building on the site, which the municipality would then like to rent out to interested tradespeople.

Areal at the May Clinic: the mayor relies on a good atmosphere for discussion

This regardless of the visions that the community has for the area around the May Clinic.

Here, too, commercial use is envisaged, combined with social housing construction.

"But not at any price," explains Bierschneider.

“We have not been able to come to an agreement with the new owner to date.

At the moment the ideas are very different, but we're talking again," reports the mayor.

The "good atmosphere for discussion" makes him optimistic.

Korbinian Kohler has already presented a rough plan for Wildbad Kreuth

Another construction project that the administration and local council will be busy with in 2023 is the planning for Wildbad Kreuth.

At the beginning of 2022, at an on-site meeting at the historic site, Korbinian Kohler explained his plans to the municipal council in principle and announced the first planning drafts for last autumn.

The submission of the planning documents has been postponed to 2023 due to the development of construction and building material procurement prices.

New company building in Siebenhütten: "We'll keep an eye on it"

The new service building for Siebenhütten, which the Bogner family is planning on a historic site, will probably be realized in 2023.

The application for approval is currently with the district office, after the municipality had agreed in November.

“It is important to us that the gastronomy there develops in an acceptable way.

We'll keep an eye on it," assures Bierschneider.

Planning for the Riedlerbrücke should become concrete in 2023

In the area of ​​infrastructure, Kreuth will deal with the planning for the Riedler Bridge.

The planning will be completed in 2023 and the water law permit will be applied for.

If this is granted, the administration can apply for funding.

We would like to have both of these in the bag by the end of the year.

The realization of the pedestrian and cycle path between the gravel works and the Weißach crossing is also to be pushed ahead.

Here, the original planning had to be larger due to the specifications of the road construction authority.

The approval of the road construction authority for the planning is still pending.

If it comes, land acquisitions may have to be carried out.

“Therefore, I cannot guarantee with absolute certainty that the project will be completed this year.

But we will tackle it.”

Local heating supply in Kreuth should come

A project is in the pipeline in the area of ​​energy supply.

"The local heating supply for the municipal properties in the town center is to come," announces Bierschneider and adds: "Things are also happening with regard to other local heating projects in other areas of the municipality." would be interested in a local heating supply.

The municipality will act as a coordinator so that neighborhoods can talk about this and any investors for local heating projects can come together.

"This is an important project for us," emphasizes the mayor.
