The search for the escaped murderer Rachid C. is finally over, on Monday evening he was arrested near the German border in France (see previous update).
Now the investigations are concentrating on how it was possible to escape from the district court and whether the man subsequently had outside help.
There are some indications that his jump out of the district court window had been planned for some time.
Update January 9, 7:32 p.m .:
The officers were able to arrest the convicted murderer, who had been on the run since Thursday (January 5).
"The fugitive Rachid C. was arrested by the police in France near the German border a few minutes ago," the police said on Monday (January 9) at 7:20 p.m.

The man, 40, jumped out of a window in a lawyer's room on the first floor of the courthouse on Thursday and fled.
The circumstances of the escape were still unclear.
He had previously been brought to the court in Regensburg for a hearing.
Police are appealing for information as they look for the man.
But she warns against speaking to the man.
He is considered violent.
He is therefore 1.76 meters tall, slim and has shoulder to elbow length, wavy dark hair.
