The pension reform will be debated in Parliament via a future amending social security financing bill (PLFSSR), Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne said on Tuesday.
"In two weeks, the amending social security financing bill (...) will be presented to the Council of Ministers, then debated in Parliament"

Elisabeth Borne had already revealed the date of presentation of the reform: in the Council of Ministers of January 23.
It will then be debated in early February in the National Assembly.
The trail of a reform review via an amending Social Security budget proposal had become an open secret after weeks of speculation about the executive's preferred method.
The use of 49.3 is not limited to the budgetary texts, and Élisabeth Borne thus engaged her responsibility ten times in the fall to have the budgets of the State and the Secu adopted for 2023.
