An online sale of works by British graffiti artist Banksy to benefit civilians in Ukraine has become the target of a Russian cyberattack, according to an aid organization.

The website has "received more than 1 million requests (and 3,500 hostile attacks from Russian IP addresses)," the aid organization Legacy of War Foundation said on its website.

Famed artist Banksy is selling 50 limited-edition silkscreens at a price of £5,000 each through the organization to raise money for civilians in Ukraine affected by the Russian war of aggression.

The prints show a mouse sliding down a box labeled Fragile.

Banksy is behind murals near Kiev

In order to get one of the works of art, potential buyers had to register with the organization.

"We are currently reviewing registered requests and will notify successful applicants," the Legacy of War Foundation said online.

Banksy said he supports the organization and has seen one of their teams in Ukraine helping "very desperate people in a bombed out building" with medical support, water and "a friendly face."

The artist had confirmed he was behind seven murals that surfaced on destroyed buildings near the capital, Kyiv, last year.
