The CGT announces a new strike at the RATP on Thursday

Two months after the last mobilization, the employees are again asking for a revaluation of their index point.


Discontent continues to mount among RATP employees.

The group's CGT has called for a new strike, from Thursday January 12 at 7:30 p.m. to Saturday January 14 at 7 a.m.

According to a press release dated January 4 addressed to CEO Jean Castex, it will concern “

all staff, of all categories and in all services

”.

Above all, the employees are demanding a rise in wages.

Most of the salary measures granted in 2022 do not respond to the dropout due to the freezing of the value of the point for almost more than 10 years at the RATP

The CGT-RATP is thus calling for “

a monthly statutory increase of 300 euros, equivalent to 50 index points

”.

This new strike comes two months after the previous one, on November 10.

The latter had caused major disruptions in public transport in the Ile-de-France region.

For now, the disturbances are not yet known and will be between 24 and 48 hours before the start of the mobilization.

Added to this is the announcement of the new pension reform on Tuesday.

The unions have already warned
