In celebration of the Arab Theater Day, and as part of the theatrical activities held by the Directorate of Theaters and Music at the Ministry of Culture, the stage of the Directorate of Culture of Hama witnessed a theatrical performance entitled (The Flames of Eternity), directed by Ayham Aisha based on the text (Forget Heroestratus) and written by the writer / Gregory Gorin /.
The events of the play revolve around answering a question: What can a person do in order to immortalize his name?
And the director of the show stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the theatrical events and activities confirm that the theater is still alive despite the difficulties and challenges it faces, and that there is always an attempt to discover, strengthen and embrace new talents.
For his part, the Director of Hama Culture, Sami Taha, indicated that the Arab Theater Day is a celebration that embodies the great role of the theater present strongly as the father of all arts, indicating that the Hama governorate celebrates several theatrical festivals, including the Maghout Festival and the Manodrama Festival, and a short time ago the National Theater was created, where Contributes to supporting theatrical activity in terms of establishing and sponsoring theater groups and caring for talents.
The Orchidia troupe, participating in the show, was talked about by its director, Suleiman Ghaibour, saying: “We at Orchidia are working on a variety of theatrical works from different theater schools, and today we tried to present a dance theatrical work, which is a new experience for our troupe.”
