Excitement in Olching: Ukrainian refugees have to leave the accommodation on Hermann-Böcker-Strasse to make room for other refugees.
Olching – Helpers criticize that structures would be destroyed in this way.
The district office defended the action.
group should stay together
Around 30 Ukrainians in family groups have to move out these days.
They are accommodated in smaller accommodations or in apartments of the district office, as a spokeswoman emphasized.
The reason: A group of Hungarian-speaking Sinti/Roma (also from the Ukraine) stayed longer than usual in the initial reception in Maisach due to the lack of space and had to leave.
These people should be accommodated together in a larger home, as this makes care easier.
The main focus is on interpreter support.
Therefore, the people should move into the larger accommodation and the others move out in order to be distributed to smaller units in the district.

Transported to new surroundings
In the future, the latter would even have a better living situation than in the large accommodation, according to the spokeswoman for the district office.
However, she also admits that the castling was not well communicated and the helpers were not informed.
The preparations for the arrival of a new bus had to be mastered by just one person in the last week, added District Administrator Thomas Karmasin.
In fact, there was excitement in Olching.
“Families are torn apart, people who have found some peace and one or the other contact are torn out of everything and transported to new surroundings,” says a letter from former SPD city councilor and refugee helper Alfred Münch.
"Children will have to change from daycare centers and schools where they have just made their first contacts and experiences," it continues.
The top priority
The spokeswoman for the district office counters this with the great need for accommodation for refugees.
"We have to decide: What is the lesser evil?" The top priority is to accommodate the refugees.

Another bus with Hungarian-speaking refugees from Ukraine is expected this week.
After that, the district could catch some air, as no new arrivals have been announced for the next two weeks.
The next bus can be expected in the fifth calendar week at the latest.
Accordingly, the district office is still on the lookout – for example for empty commercial buildings.
